Alfred Shaumyan
Alfred is a founding partner of Shaumyan & Derbarseghian LLP. Before S&D, Alfred was a partner at a global Am Law 50 law firm. He represented large Fortune 50 companies and successful privately owned companies in high-stakes lawsuits involving business disputes, insurance coverage, mass and toxic torts, product liability, consumer remedies, health care, intellectual property, franchise, real estate, and lending. During law school, Alfred was an Associate Justice on the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and a member of the Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. He was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Andrew J. Wistrich of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Aren Derbarseghian
Aren is a founding partner of Shaumyan & Derbarseghian LLP. He attended UCLA where he studied political science and history. After UCLA, he attended Loyola Law School. While in law school he worked at several different law firms as a law clerk and gained practical knowledge and real-world experience in a wide range of practice areas, sharpening his skills as a litigator. After graduating from law school Aren started a successful practice and achieved many significant early victories. Aren grew his practice and his client base and partnered with his long-time friend Alfred Shaumyan. Together, their skills run the gamut and they provide a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses alike. Aren takes pride in the fact that his work-product speaks for itself. His clients are referred to him by satisfied former clients and other attorneys, including attorneys against whom he has litigated. Aren represents clients from across the country and he has successfully litigated multi-million-dollar cases involving complex legal issues.
